Recruitment Open Day for Mental Health Nurses

WHEN: Saturday, 25th June 2022

WHERE: Sheraton Athlone Hotel

WHY YOU SHOULD GO: If you are a Mental Health Nurse looking for a new venture, plenty of doors will be opened for you by attending this event in Athlone, where new recruits will be sought by Dublin’s Saint John of God’s Hospital. On the day, you’ll get a chance to hear about the many openings across diverse clinical settings, meet some of the hospital’s nursing team, and hear about the opportunities for career development there. Killarney Brewing Recruitment Day

WHEN: Monday, June 27th 2022

WHERE: Killarney Brewing & Distilling Company, Killalee, Fossa

WHY YOU SHOULD GO: Killarney Brewing & Distillery Co’s beautiful new premises in Fossa will soon be up and running – the only thing left is to secure enough staff to bring the business to its full potential! Once opened, the space will serve as Ireland’s largest independently owned co-located brewery, distillery and visitor centre, with its very own restaurant and bar. At this Recruitment Day, attendees will be able to discover and apply for jobs across all areas of the business. Roles will include all types of food and beverage positions, chefs of all grades, retail team members and brand ambassadors. WHEN: Tuesday, 28th June 2022

WHERE: Breaffy House Hotel, Castlebar, Co. Mayo

WHY YOU SHOULD GO: The Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board are hosting this event to showcase the various resources they’ve made available for local businesses, which may be of particular use during this spike of recruitment drives that we’re seeing in the wake of the ‘Great Resignation’. WomenHack Networking Event

WHEN: Thursday, 30th June 2022

WHERE: Location TBC upon invitation

WHY YOU SHOULD GO: This invite-only event is the first of its kind for Dublin, but has been rolled out successfully in many other cities worldwide. The WomenHack team have put their own spin on the speed-dating format, with all their events centering around rapid, 5-minute interviews. During the brief interviews, attendees get the chance to meet with local companies and employers face-to-face, to get an insider’s perspective on exciting new technologies and projects within their industry and, most importantly, it’s a great opportunity to network with fellow women in tech.
